(Junior) Quantitative Risk Analyst (m/f/d) 80 - 100%
Generali Investment Risk Management is looking for a (Junior) Quantitative Risk Analyst to support the CRO in identifying, assessing, and managing financial risks. In this role, you will conduct complex data analyses to identify and quantify potential risks. You will work closely with other departments such as Asset Management, Fund Administration, and Finance to develop and implement risk models. Your analytical skills and deep understanding of financial markets will be crucial in providing well-founded recommendations for risk mitigation. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team and communicate complex information clearly and precisely. A strong foundation in mathematics, quantitative financial analysis, and digital skills is essential, as well as deep programming abilities to analyze large data sets with various software and translate the obtained information into actionable insights. What to expect
- Programming and implementation of risk models and PowerBI reports
- Monitoring of risk positions with various tools/software and participation in the automation of reporting

The skills you'll bring
- Completed studies (Master's) in mathematics, quantitative financial analysis with a focus on computer science or a related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an insurance or fund management company
- Practical experience in quantitative modeling, problem-solving, quantitative financial
- In-depth knowledge of PowerBI, including his M/DAX programming languages, Python, R, SQL, VBA
- Knowledge of database modeling, Bloomberg and/or Morningstar software, portfolio management systems such as SimCorp
- Very good English skills in spoken and written form; German and Italian skills are an advantage
- Empathy and teamwork skills
