Head of Legal (f/m/d) 80-100%
As Head of Legal, you will lead the Legal function of Generali Investments Switzerland Ltd and act as a trusted legal advisor to Senior Management and relevant governance bodies. In this key role, you will actively contribute to the development of our Swiss fund and broader asset management activities.
What to expect
- Lead the local Legal function and manage and develop one Legal professional
- Advise on fund, investment, financial market and corporate law matters
- Take ownership of regulatory correspondence and proceedings with FINMA
- Lead legal matters relating to Swiss investment funds, including fund launches, amendments, restructurings, mergers and liquidations
- Draft, review and negotiate fund and asset management agreements and other relevant legal documentation
- Work closely with Senior Management, the Board, Compliance, Risk Management, Investments and internal and external legal partners
The skills you'll bring
- University degree in Swiss law (MLaw / lic. iur.); Swiss bar admission is an advantage
- 7–10+ years of relevant legal experience in the Swiss asset management and fund industry
- Strong expertise in Swiss collective investment schemes and financial market law, particularly CISA, FinIA and FinSA
- Hands-on experience with Swiss investment funds and FINMA regulatory proceedings and approvals
- Leadership experience or demonstrated ability and motivation to lead and develop a Legal professional
- Fluent German and very good English, combined with a pragmatic, independent and solution-oriented approach
